Default Android App Crashing

My app crashes everytime I reopen it. If I just leave it on the current posts screen and hit the home button, when I come back to it it says this appliation has crashed. Then it freezes for a second and kicks me out. So I click on it again and it reboots with the big JK logo ad starts working again till I try to reopen it.

This just started happening since the last update. Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same issue, but also only since the last update. Im hoping there is a patch to this issue or I will just uninstall the update.

Ok so I couldn't find the uninstall updates on my phone (Sprint Epic 4G) so I just uninstalled the whole thing and reinstalled. I assume that installs it with the most recent update because it gave me the new bar at the top of the curent tab with last visit and all.

Anyway, it seemed to fix it. It doesn't crash anymore. But it also doesn't stay on your last screen. Everytime I hit the home button and go back into the app the JK logo comes up and it takes me to the different forums.

This is ok with me so even though it isn't where it was I would still consider it fixed.

sometimes you just have to fully uninstall the app (not just this one) and re install... wash rinse repeat until you get the desired effect.

Haha yeah that sounds like what I'm having to do. I've only had a Droid since June so I'm still getting used to it. So I'm guessing its just a little thing with it, not so much the app.

I did that and now it seems to be working. Thanks!

Most apps are written to the general android platform. Forum apps dont require much from a specific device but sometimes certain models of phones have issues, send the developer an email or post the issue on the comment and they usually get it resolved fast.

This is where android platform has problems vs. the iphone. There are no phone model variations of the iphone so updates have minimal impact.

Took me 6 months to,finally get Netflix on my phone when my previous phone already had it
