Up in the right hand corner of the screen is a button for USER/CP, this is the control panel of the forum. Click this and on the left side of the screen is an option to "edit avatar". From the edit avatar section you can upload an avatar of your choosing either through a URL or a picture on your computer. Keep in mind that there is a size constraint on the avatar pics.

You can pick one of the avatars that is already there or upload one from your computer, but the pic you are using has to be no larger than 80 x 80 pix or 19.5 kb, whichever is smaller.
