Avatar pic is upside down

Default Avatar pic is upside down

why are my pictures upside down when uploading for avatar and profile picture? (super computer illiterate). Im using mac products if this makes a difference. Also I have tried flipping them in my photo library thinking it would flip it right side up when I upload them... didnt work lol. thanks!

To answer your question as to why, that is because the pictures are being taken upside down. There are some software and websites that read the orientation data and correct the display within the software or website. However, not all software or websites do this. Our website does not.

The only 2 solutions, at this time, would be:
1) Take the pictures right side up. For further information, you might want to consult Apple's community for best practices of using the camera.
2) Use a photo editing utility that flips *and saves* the image.
