Can the Mods clean out the For Sale thread? Or, can we delete ours if item is sold?
Im new to the forum, but plan on sticking around.
I find myself spending a lot of time reading through for sale threads, only to get to the end to learn the item has been sold. Sometimes, you can hover over and the pop-up says it, and sometimes it doesnt.
Is there a way to clean it out? Perhaps allowing the original poster to delete it after their item is sold?
Just a thought.
Thanks

With the threads deleted, how would you determine a fair asking price for the part you want to sell?
It has been the OPs responsibility to update the thread indicating the part has been sold. Although I don't want to see these threads deleted, I would like to see an option to edit the thread title to include the word "SOLD".

I understand the "record keeping" part. That makes sense.
Anything to help the readers know before going in and spending 5 minutes per thread to find out the item is sold would be useful. Perhaps allowing the OP to move the thread to a "sold items" category would be helpful.
Just my $.02
