way before i joined this site it looks like "local" for sale threads were done away with. no idea why, and honestly i think its kinda dumb. see here...

imo having a local for sale section is great as it allows you to see what is for sale local to where you live. i honestly dont care about parts that are for sale half way across the country, id like to know what people are trying to sell close.

 

I think is a good idea to have this.

Everyone could just put their location in the title

 

my problem with that is you still have to sift through everything else that has nothing to do with my general area. its def a lot better than no locations in post titles, but imo regional specific for sale threads or even a subforum per area would be better. possibly leave the current for sale forums open so someone could post in each if they wanted to for those that want to browse each.

 

too often people have posted stuff for sale that i'm interested in buying, but the seller has no interest in shipping.
