Default Disable thread title popup?

Is it possible to disable the popup that comes up when you mouse over a thread title? I've looked throughout the user/cp and looked at the bottom of this page for forum options/prefs. etc. and can't find a way to do so.

I don't believe there is a way to do this from the forum software end. Perhaps your browser may have a setting that will do it-- not sure. Curious why this is bothersome to you?

I use a stylus at work and don't even have a mouse connected to my computer, so the result is that my cursor moves back and forth quite a bit as I'm reading the titles of the different threads and search results. While I'm reading, the pop-ups are flashing up left and right. Due to the high contrast in color (dark forum, light pop-up) and the fact that they are centered on the cursor, they are distracting and sometimes cover the thread title(s). It's probably not as big of a deal for those that use a mouse, not sure, but it would be great to disable it. It's not a big deal obviously, but if there was a way to disable it, I wanted to know where it was.

Ah, understood. What browser are you using? There could very well be an add-on for Firefox that would address this... or perhaps a Greasemonkey script.

You can check out a post I made on 3rd party solutions for changing forum colors here, if that helps. I will also pass your comments on to the admin.

I'm using Chrome. I've used Firefox in the past, and enjoyed it, but lately I've enjoyed using Chrome for a variety of reasons.

Thanks for the suggestions, i'll definitely look into them in the event I switch back to Firefox.
