Default Forum colors?

Hey all - I know this would probably be a pain in the ass - but would anyone else like to join me in asking Eddie to consider changing the forum colors to light text on a dark background? My broken old eyes have a real hard time reading white text on a dark background.

EDIT - I wrote that backwards, I meant DARK text on a LIGHT background.

Let me get this straight...You want a "light" text instead of a "white" text, while maintaining the "dark" background? Maybe I'm a bit confused, but what did you have in mind for the "light" text that would make it easier to read than a "white" text?

I didn't see an option for that in the CP. Maybe that's something that can be enabled?

I agree it looks very nice, and I appreciate that a lot of good work went into making it, so I feel like a bit of an ass.

Ummm... I have a dark background with white (light) text. It seems it is already as you requested, right? I do not know which program Eddie is using for the forum, but they may be able to activate the option that allows the user to decide which format they prefer. Eddie, you using PHP?

LOL - Renegade you're right, I wrote my original post exactly backwards. I'm looking for DARK text on a LIGHT background.

Hey man... this may be a fix for you... at the top of each thread is a selection for thread tools... select printable version and it makes it like you want it to be... although this may be cumbersome to do this to every thread you read!

Thanks, that's actually what I always do. You're right, it is cumbersome.

I find the nominal colour scheme quite pleasing and would be upset if it were changed. For my eyes (light grey) it's much easier for them to track light text on a dark background.

of course, there are colour schemes that are unreadable

But this forum is beyond well set up.
