Default Forum look?

Ever since the forum was shutdown the other day I have been having issues with the way it works and looks on my work laptop. Other than the annoying ads everything works as always on my phone and personal computer. The work laptop has an old OS (vista) that I can't change, but I hope this is not the issue. It's horrible to look at everything is jumbled up and it's hard to navigate. If it is a vista issue I hope it can be corrected as this is the computer I use the most. Maybe it is just a setting issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Forum keeps crashing..

Every reply I try to post or new thread I try to start today seems to struggle and often crashes after hitting 'submit'...

Just an FYI.

edit: actually this post just now took a long time. And it ended up going to a white network error/database error type page. It did post it though.

I spoke with Internet Brands and was told that it would be helpful if you could provide any additional information such as:

• What operating system, browser & version are you using?
• ISP info and connection type?
• Issue experienced such as low loading page, slow connecting, then good load, connection reset errors, 404s, etc. Also, the action being performed when this occurred.
• If you know how, is there a chance you could do a trace routes to this site - that would be helpful.

Thanks your help!

Mac OSX 10 Snow Leopard

Not sure on ISP, T1 or greater

Slow loading on "submit"...only after attempted posts/replies.

Thats a bit above this webguys pay grade

Thanks your help!

For what its worth, it feels more like a php issue than a connectivity issue. Granted I am no forum coding expert...but if this is based upon php there may be a new "plugin" or module that is conflicting with another one...

Again, I have never even looked through the code required to run a forum like this so please take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Windows 7 forum takes FOREVER to load, most times won't load at all. T1 connection, problems only started since forum was down last week. No time out issues, splash page is good, but link to forum page can take a full minute to load, or not load. Three different computers, different IPs,same issue.

In my case it's the apps that have been misbehaving since the servers transition.
Answering questions.

• What operating system, browser & version are you using?
Using both the iPhone (iPhone 3GS) and Android (Acer A100) apps. Seldom use PC lately.

• ISP info and connection type?
Frontier FiOS (home) and AT&T 3G Wireless (cellphone)

• Issue experienced such as low loading page, slow connecting, then good load, connection reset errors, 404s, etc. Also, the action being performed when this occurred.
Issues happen on both apps. Slow to load, sometimes leading to timeouts. Photos and thumbnails take too long to load or never load at all, give error message. It's inconsistent, that is, sometimes work and many do not.

• If you know how, is there a chance you could do a trace routes to this site - that would be helpful.
If you mean number of hops, I'll check it out and post back.
