Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that we did some maintenance last night and one of the changes that was made is that posts made here in the Anything & Everything forum will no longer be added to your overall post count. Needless to say, if you've noticed your post count to be lower today, that would be the reason why.

 

Could've sworn I had like 1800-plus posts, but I just noticed after one of my replies and it said like 1600-something. Is the board acting up or what?

Nobody (with a life) really cares about post counts, but I just don't want any of my enlightening information and profound quotes lost in cyberspace

Or am I mistaken on this? I've been wrong before, I think.

Well I lost a lot of tick marks. Not that I care but can I ask why this was done. I know you said it was maintence but how is that?

And for anybody who thinks I'm dumb for my 1st post in this thread, I started a thread about the same time as this thread, and it looks like they "merged" the two.

 

I think it was fairly simple, actually... the decision was made that Anything & Everything posts no longer count towards post counts (which makes total sense, if you think about it) and, therefore, the system was told not to count them. So, there ya go!

If it makes you feel any better, I lost about 200 posts, too...

 

Post counts ultimately lead to the change in your JK status i.e. 'JK Enthusiast' or 'JK Freek' etc. Likewise, posts made in here have nothing to do with your passion for the JK or the lifestyle surrounding it and so we felt that they simply should not be added to your total count - that's all.

 

There goes all of 1jeep1G's hard work building his count in the eyeful and baby's got back threads
