Try it. It wont work.

I spend a good time in my jeep at work, and have some serious downtime. So I will park and watch tv often. So I thought I'd see how some jeepers mount TVs in their jeeps.

I was thinking of adding a tv tuner awhile back to my double din deck but at the time, the tuners didn't pick up American digital signals or something.
Maybe get an app on ur phone to run tv and run RCA cables out to ur deck to watch it on. If you want a larger screen, they have sun visor monitors that are bigger too

Oh, I already have a small tv in my jeep. It is a small 3.5 incher

It has a battery compartment that I put quarter-sized neodymium magnets inside the back cover so that it will stick to a metal surface. In my old TJ I stuck it to the vertical hardtop clamp above the driver's side visor. Wired it in and also bought a cheap $3 antenna for it (off ebay). But in my new 2010 JK, but the hardtop clamps are angled (not vertical), so I couldnt exactly slap the tv in place so I made a quick bracket that I cut out of a cookie tin and put under the hardtop clamp's hardware (between the clamp and the hardtop it is mounted to). The bracket bends slightly so that the hardtop clamp can move to open the T-tops.

BUT! I have another tv that is a 7 inch Haier

And plan on putting it behind the odd little rubberized panel under the driver's side dash under the steering wheel. It just pops off. I think it is to access the infinity amp that is in there. I will make it to where I can open the panel and pull out the tv (the tv lays flat inside the compartment) and the tv will pull out and hang there and be able to be viewed that way by the driver (while parked of course). ANd when put back and the panel in place... it will be hidden from view (of thieves).

Anyways... i was just curious on where/how other jeepers may have mounted tvs in their jeeps. Especially if they have found a better way.

That is why I was searching for "TV"

Hi,

Try putting quotes around your search term. Thanks.

It worked! Thanks.

Seems that not a lot of people put TVs in their jeeps.
