I updated to the latest version of iOS 8 and now when I type on the app you can't hit the arrow to make your post or reply. You have to copy what you typed back out and open a new reply and post it. Also I have a big white box blocking the screen so I can only type so much before I can't see anymore.

 

Which iphone model are you on? The 4 and 4s (I have 4s) aren't meant for the IOS 8 update and run crappy if used. If you're on a iphone 5 or newer, speedlimit will chime in soon to help

 

That's really weird. I'm on the 6 plus and I haven't had any issues with posting on the JK Forum app, and I only use my phone to access the site.

 

I've noticed when typing a long reply the text will end up below the keyboard making it impossible to see what your typing. This is on iPhone 5 with iOS8

Edit: just tried it and it seems to be working correctly now. I tried the updated iOS 8 last week and haven't typed a long message since. The original iOS 8 might have been the problem.

 

I had that on iOS 7, but haven't noticed it yet on iOS 8.

 

I have a 5s, I think I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling and see if that helps, since it seems to be working for others.

 

Do you have iOS 8 or the updated iOS 8.0.2? I've noticed a lot of problems with the original iOS 8 update.

 

Yes I do have the 8.0.2 update. I just uninstalled the app and the send button seems to be working now. Looks like the white box problem on the keyboard is with the new keyboard add-on feature. I added the stock keyboard back and the white box is gone. So I think I'm fixed for now, other than Swift key doesn't work correctly with this app not sure what's up with that.

 

Looks like the send button not working was a swift key issue as well. 😳
