Key ignition's warning

Well this forum isn't really dedicated to the Patriot at all.
That said, as a general rule it's either an electrical short somewhere or the ignition cylinder is physically stuck so when you pull your key out it doesn't "close" like it should and therefore thinks the key is still stuck in there.
