Hi,

I am sharing this story with hopes of saving my fellow Jeep owners a few bucks and/or finally getting my JK stickers I bought almost 2 months ago.

So, on Apr 5 I bought 2 project JK stickers for my beloved Jeep. Thought they looked cool and to support what used to be one of my favorite sites. The email I got after making a paypal payment said they would ship in 5 to 10 business days which seemed reasonable.

On Apr 14th I followed up with email to info@project-jk.com to find out if my order had shipped. NO RESPONSE

On May 2nd I followed up with another email. NO RESPONSE

On May 4th I followed up with another email. NO RESPONSE

I know I'm only chasing them for a $10 order, but seriously whoever runs the site's store is a damn criminal. I paid $10 almost 2 months ago and have not heard a single thing from this site.

Perhaps whoever monitors this forum can point me in the right direction to resolve this issue. If not, for anyone else reading this, please beware that Project JK will take your money and not ship your product. CRIMINALS!

Thanks for listening to my rant and hopefully I saved you from making the same mistake I made.

Running a large forum take a lot of time and effort. We are conditioned to get things we pay for instantly, but you have to understand a forum owner has a lot on his plate.

That said, in my opinion, WOL should state it takes a couple of months to get these so people know what to expect before ordering and no one gets upset like this.

PS. I’m not affiliated with the operations of this forum. Just a member who is very familiar with private forums.

I had mine shipped to Michigan and had them with in 7 days. I even bought the Great Lakes location sticker as well. Everytime I have pm WOL he has been very quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. I suggest sending him a PM before you starting air dirty laundry. Just my two cents.

WOW!!! Welcome to the Forum...why don't you just jump right in with both feet. I'd say there are better way to handle a situation like this than to throw out wild accusations like that.

In April, I think a bunch of them went to Moab or EJS... so that would delay them processing the order.

Good point by 5APR everyone would have been gearing up and getting ready for EJS.

the no response on 14APR was due the them being at EJS.

Said to see this was your first post. I would try sending a PM to WOL before you flip out to much more.

Please note that this thread had originally been removed by a moderator as the person who started it clearly signed up on this forum with no other purpose than to make this one post and do it in a way to to be a troll. Please note that this person has since been banned and this thread re-opened so that I could set the record straight.

For the record, I have looked into this matter and have found that the person in question had in fact placed an order back on April 5, 2011 and, I also found that it was mailed via USPS on the exact same day to the address provided. Because this order was mailed out, I do not have a tracking number to verify whether or not they were received so it is entirely possible that they have been lost somewhere between here and Canada. Having said that, I have checked ALL my emails and HAVE NOT FOUND A SINGLE ONE from this person. While I do receive an enormous amount of emails and PM's every day, I do try my best to respond to ALL of them as quickly as possible and I can assure you that I would have responded to his.

Having said all that, I would also like to state for the record that I have in fact refunded 100% of this persons money. If he had just emailed or PM'd me like he said he had, I would have given him the benefit of the doubt and done so a long time ago even though I can't prove one way or another whether or not he actually got his order. To that end, it is my hope that you could give me the benefit of the doubt and trust that I would always conduct myself with honesty and integrity. And, if you ever have any problems with an order you place with us, PLEASE, send me a PM, click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the screen or email me at either info@project-jk.com or eddie@project-jk.com. If you do, I can assure you that you will hear back from me and in a timely manner.
