Default Old news or missing posts?

I just noticed my post count was about 1k short, and alot of other peeps too.

What happened? I've been working more lately and posting less, so this could have happened in the last two weeks and I missed it.

Curiously back in the 700's.

Posts in anything and everything do not count anymore.

It's ok you are where I was before the "maintenance" There is a sticky about it in the announcements.

We lost post counts in "anything and everything" but gained some kick-ass new forums

And now that your thread has been moved here it counts! But who pays attention to post counts anyway?

I still can't find the sticky on it, and I even searched for similiar threads before I started one. I'm not too concerned over post counts, but am a curious creature and notice things from time to time.

I think I agree with the concept, as oddly ocd as it seems.

I can see that point. There are those who would post dribble just to see the count go up.<(just kidding not my style). It does seem like a good idea the way it has been set up now. If you enjoy the "word association" for example, it sure could pad a post count rather quickly.

On the positive side post counts show that a member has been active at a glance. Kindof like a seniority ranking. Just now everyone will know the activity listed was in the Jeep related forums which seems like a good thing.

But like I said, I have many posts in "A&E". Some are just goofy bs and some are semi-intelligent conversations about things that are off topic from real Jeep stuff. It will probably get some of us to actually brouse around and see what else is here.
