does anyone know how to reduce the file size of a pdf file? I have a recovery class that we use in the Marine Corps that I want to share, but the file is way over the size limit (file is 970KB, limit is 19KB). It's a powerpoint converted to pdf and I already deleted a bunch of the slides. There's 32 left, but I can't take anymore out without losing the important info.

any help is appreciated

There are two possibilities and are sort of a PITA, but may help reduce the file size a bit. The first is to reduce the size of the pictures by selecting and cutting them (ctrl-x) and then performing a 'paste special' and select as JPEG. The second would be to remove any transitions or Video/music that may be embedded

Edit: I just thought that if there is a graphic background or special fonts included on the slides those may increase the file size as well

Use a file sharing service like Google's Drive or Drop Box. Give out the link and no worries about file size limits!
