So its been more than a few days since I uploaded some pics and picked one for my profile icon. yet, it has not shown up in my posts yet. What gives?

 

Well, you do have a profile pic. That is different than an avatar. An avatar is the pic that shows up on the left side of your post.
Try this:

First are you talking about a profile pic in your profile or an avatar that is on the side of every post?
At the top of the page click on "Forum Actions"


Then select "General Settings"

Then on the left select "Edit Profile Picture" or "Edit Avatar" then follow the size requirements to upload.
