Default What is a bump?

So i have been checking out JK's for sale in the jeep recycler and i keep seeing the word bump everywhere. "free bump, Bumo for the weekend, pump it up, etc." I am new to the forum world and am not really sure what that means. can any one help me out?

haha when there is a post, the thread gets "bumped" to the top of the list of new threads. People are trying to get their parts sold!

It's a post in the thread to "bump" it to the top of the current threads and/or the top of that topic list.
