Being a newbie is not a bad thing. Just because it says newbie doesent mean your not good at 4wheeling or don't know anything about jeeps. It just means you don't post a ton of useless posts. Don't worry about what your status says, your on the Internet!!!

what jk forums ought to do is offer a member buyin. it would help pay for the site and in turn users gain control of their status and, say get a color on there username.

It would ruin the site. No one would buy it. Everyone would look for an alternative free site. It would be JK forum suicide.... you might be the only member, which would suck if you had a question. Keeping if free makes it more available to more people, which in turn gives people more access to other peoples knowledge, trials and errors and other info. Free is good!!!
