OK.... sorry you won't be able to attend. Try to hook something up in the near future. I was actually thinking about a Friday or Sat. event at the new Bj's on Broadway.... Maybe make it a Bi-Weekly or Monthly Meet?

Yea, I think that would be a great idea.

Hey guys,
bad news, i wont be able to make it the 18th. I have to work here in town.

James, if i finish up early enough, I might shoot you a text message to see if youre all still hanging out and stop by.

Im down for the bi-weekly or monthly meet. I vote against the new BJ's though. i went there for lunch one day, there was a group of guys and gals from the base there. After horrible service and complaints from at least 7 or 8 other tables that i could tell (expected since its is a "new" restaurant, the manager comes out and informs the soldiers that they dont offer a military discount.

One of them replies " we get it at the other BJ's on the north side" and the manager says, "yes, they do offer a mil discount there, but we do not here"

i decided i would not be going there again

/rant

I've been to the new one twice now and had nothing but good experiences. The staff was always friendly and the beer is pretty tasty. I wouldn't mind going during happy hour sometimes.

James, let me know when you want to hit it up. There are always the staples that we hit as well... your call buddy.

ya, i attribute the crappy service to it being the first week they were open, which is OK.

but after overhearing that they dont give a Mil discount while the other BJ's does, made up my mind

I say lets find the most liberal restaurant in tucson and hang out there. LOL
Now see that would just be way to much fun. If we could do these get togethers on Friday's or Saturday's that would be ideal for me. Maybe have it coincide with a run every now and then.

I have two suggestions for this liberal eatery you are looking for..
#1 http://www.monkeyburgerrestaurant.com/ Never tried it but they got a report of being gun friendly..

#2 Prince Pizza and Family Restaurant.. 1763 E. Prince rd.. We have eaten there its GREAT! Pitcher of beer for $5.... Patio with music...

#3 Abes Bar in Tumacacori Good prices of Beer.

#4 Wisdoms Cafe in Tumacacori.. Great Margaritas and food...
