Default Afghanistan to Phoenix

I'm currently in Afghanistan and will soon come back home to Phoenix. Looking for a little redeployment present for myself in the form of a few mods. I have a 2010 JKU Sport w/ 3.73s. Aside from that and a pretty wife perched in the passenger seat, it is pretty much stock. I want to start with a RC 3 1/2" lift and either 35's or 37's. Thinking I'll go with about a 5.13 ratio, potentially right away. that is about it for phase 1 as my mods are competing with a new kitchen. 4 wheel parts gave me what I think is a decent quote, but wondering if there are any other locations that could do the install in whole or part. Was also wondering if I would have to put a Dana 44 on the front to get the 5.13 gears.

JK Forum has been great to me since I bought my Jeep and has made this deployment MUCH better. Thanks to all who contribute.

Hey brother, stay safe out there. I am in Afghanistan also. Maybe if you come to Fort Carson, I'll see you on the trails. By the way, the mods sound great. Keep up the fight and give them hell brother.

I could not have said it better myself. God bless and watch over you both and your families.

I'm in Indiana, so I don't get out there much, but I'd love to do it. I took the wife and kids to Buena Vista in the JK a few years back and experienced more off road fun than I've ever had before. It is paradise out there!

It was a riot. I had 6 little kids in the back (I've got a rear facing third row seat made by Little seats.). The other Jeepers crapped when they saw all of us climb out of it!

Thanks all for the prayers for me, my family and my military family. Funny thing about Afghanistan, this is GREAT Jeep country. I would love to have my JK out here to run some of these mountain trails. Jeeps don't normally fare well with high explosives and RPG's, but aside from that, this place could be incredible. Would live to drive ring road around the entire country!

There are plenty of folks here in the valley that hold open garage wrenching parties. Post a thread on Phoenix Jk'ers group and I bet it there would be plenty there to help you put your mods on and save you a bunch of money...
