You'll never have an issue finding a Jeep caravan in Colorado.

Right after the fluff falls from the sky and when you have a board(s) in your hand.

Any info would be great!

Thanks in advance.
Most of the time I tell Texicans there aint a good time to come to Colorado....

But if you're here in July, dont miss the 4th Fireworks show in Silverton.

By the way if you dont want to staya on the highway you can damn near drive the whole loop on some old mining roads and county roads. Good luck with your plans.
Yep, most roads are open by the 4th of July and it starts snowing sometime in August although it doesnt last for long. Sept brings rain and snow to the high country and it adds a nice dimension to Jeepin & motorcycling up high.

Summer months (July/August) are great to hit the mountains. Very tolerable temps, mostly dry. But if you want to climb to 10k ft plus expect random weather.

There are a ton of great breweries all over CO like others have stated. The best part is the beer culture here is top notch similar to that in the PNW. Just go to a brewery and chat with the staff, they won't lead in the wrong direction.
If you plan on stopping in Denver hit up the Wynkoop. I'll buy you some beers Maybe hit up a Rockies game.

Just make sure you know where you want to go. There are some wilderness areas where you need a camp permit etc.

P.S. Don't be afraid when you feel like you want to move here. Like many bumper stickers read "I got here as fast as I could"
