I'm kinda bummed. They fixed the washed-out culvert on the east side of Mosquito Pass. It kept the minvans from trying to take a short cut from Fairplay to Leadville. There was still plenty of snow up there last weekend. I was on my XR400; much faster to scope things out. I guess I should stick to Wheeler Lake.
Over the July 4th weekend I had to shovel a path up to Windy Ridge and then immediately took a spike to the rear drivers side tire. The hole was so big the shop wouldn't fix it.

Hey Old School, that's a beautiful shot. there's a crazy offshoot up there that has a big bog (near an old washed out wooden bridge)....

We are going to run up there on Saturday this weekend with another lifted jk and a moded tj and a few others. If you are interested in going let me know.....

I can't make it this weekend but keep me in mind. We have a cabin a few miles southeast of Mosquito Pass so I am up there playin' quite often.
