There are beautiful sites right next to Fins and Things and Hells Revenge that I highly recommend. I don't think there are any hook-ups though, but if you want to tent that's the place. There is one site that is closely surrounded by red rock on 3 sides and it's very quiet out there.
It's $10/night I think but includes entrance to trails in that area that you would have to pay $5 for anyway. These sites are on BLM land right off Sands Flat Rd. They are only 5-10 minutes from town too.
