Well I finally got to take my JK off road this weekend. I had an absolute blast.

I took a few pictures but I was mostly too busy trying to break the vapor lock of my butt puckering to the seat after every obstacle to really do any photography.

Here is one spot where I stopped to let the guys ahead get going, so I could take a run at the next hill (and almost needed a winch to get started again, a common occurance):



And here is one looking back down the stream bed I just came up... it looks almost tame in the pictures, but I'm pretty sure I was white-knuckling it all the way up.



I had a lot of help, but the JK did amazingly well. No lockers, just the brake-lock difs, and they controlled wheel spin very well. I went a few places where much more built-up rigs had trouble, and had it fairly easy. I did get stuck a few times, needed a winch a few times, but I think everyone had to get strapped or winched at least once or twice, so I don't feel TOO bad about it.
