Hey guys.... I ran into this guy Mike Mahoney (Army Vet, Currently serving as Mayor of the town of Lochbuie). He has an organization called "Here I am, Here I go!". They create a conduit through which all disabled people touched by the effects of trauma, both tangible and intangible are given the opportunity to reconnect with their family, their lives, and ultimately themselves. Mike takes these folks to the mountians to camp, fish and I think ski too. I asked if he's taken them wheeling and the answer was... No. I asked Mike if this would be of interest to him and his organization. His answer was.... YES!!!

I will be talking with Mike soon to organize a 1 day/1 night excursion in the wonderful Colorado mountians. The initial plan is to Wheel all day and camp at night... returning to the city the following day. We will be looking for volunteers willing to pack your Jeep with a vet or two (and their camping gear) and come up with us.

I don't think I need to tell you this is a great cuase... But I will say, this could be a life changer for not only a vet, but maybe even you!
