A couple of us from Highlands Ranch and Castle Rock spent Saturday out on Missouri and Illinois Gulch trails. They're some of the few trails close by that are open this time of year. Conditions were mild, with ice and snow in spots, little but of mud in others, but it was sunny out and we really couldn't complain.

There were 2 JKs and one FJ. We ran the full loop of Missouri and then Illinois up to the Moab Hill obstacle which we had a good time on. All in all it was a fun run, and the trails are easy to do stock. Here are a few pics, with the full gallery available here: http://bit.ly/hvCZwI

Rainbow Falls is a fun area and great for beginners. I need to get out there more often as its so close to my house

 

where exactly is this place? i just moved back to central illinois and I had no clue this place existed. I am going to have to check it out.
