I know there is a club run going up Mosquito pass this weekend. I'm still thinking the pass is going to be snowed in though, so probably going to wait a few more weeks.

However, if you want to set up another weekend, i'm in... I am looking for easier trails at this point as I have a 1 year old and wife who will be with me. Mosquito looked good, just don't think they'll make it over..

Let me know.

so its Colorado 4 wheeling... i just checked their facebook page and this is what they posted

-Saturday, July 16th.. Meet up at 8-8:15 at Tipsy's off of C470 - just south of 285. We will be taking 285 to highway 9, heading north to Alma where we will check out The Montgomery Mine (Wheeler Lake trail head entrance) then we are going just south to run Mosquito Pass/London Mines into Leadville.

however, just checking the forest service page, it says the area is closed.. guessing snow like I said...

I'd like to get up to the trails at some point though.. hit me up some time..
