Default Leaving for Moab Friday

Hi. We will be headed for Moab this Friday the 5th. Should be there by the 11th. Would love some info for places to go an dif there are meet and greets planned. I will be driving from Moab to Phoenix on the 22nd. Then back up to the Moab area on the 24th. Will be in that part of the country until October 5th or so. It will be a 4-5 week adventure.

WOW ! 4 to 5 weeks. Do you want to adopt me. Actually, I'll be getting to Moab about when you're leaving. Call or go online to Moab information center. 800 635 6622 or 435 259 6003. Online at www.discovermoab.com I know two weeks is not enough time but it's all I've got right now. You will have a wonderful time. Other websites for Utah: www.utah.com, www.outdoorutah.com, and www.utah.travel, which is also the website for the Utah Office of Tourism, phone# 800-200-1160. We requested Utah travel guide books and a Utah State map at www.utah.com.

We were going to New Mexico first then Az. ( Grand Canyon ) then to Moab and SW Colorado, but we can reverse the route. We could be in Moab Oct 2nd or 3rd. PM me your cell # so we can call you. I think my wife sent you a PM with our cell#.

Drive safe!
You could wheel all week in Moab and never do the same trail twice!
I would suggest purchasing the Moab 4x4 trail guide by Charles Wells at the local book store in Moab.
Excellent trail descriptions, directions and difficulty levels with pics.

Let me know how gnarly you want to get and I can throw some suggestions at you. I have led groups down there for years. Maybe I'll check my calendar and meet up for a day.
