I'm interested too... I was thinking of making the 16 hour drive in October, but this way my boy won't miss school.

RedRock 4 wheelers organizes the trails. You can pick the ones you would like to run and go with the group and not have to worry about finding your way! They make sure you are going the right way the whole time. Even if you have done the trail before, they make it fun to run with a group. http://www.centralpt.com/pageview.aspx?id=16379

I'm having some good luck, I got my time off rearranged and will be going on Labor Day weekend. I'm gonna try to get on some of the same trails, especially Golden Spike on Sunday.

Rubicon and Moab within 5 weeks!

I'm IN! We got our accomodations squared away at Desert Gardens Cottages
123 West 200 North. I sent my request to RR4W so it will be a while til I find out what trails I'll get. Golden Spike is top of my list and I'm interested in Steel Bender, Metal Masher, Poison Spider and Kane Creek. I'll probably only get to do Friday and Saturday because we'll have to start heading home Sunday unless somebody can recommend a good short trail for Sunday morning. I might just do Gemini Bridges that morning on our own with the family.

Anybody else taking kids under 10? I'm gonna have 2 and not sure they will both be going on the trails each day.

I may be doing Elephant Hill or Hell's Revenge on Thursday on my own if anybody is gonna be in town.

Hey, see you guys there. We had plans to be in SW Colorado just a few days before the event in Moab. So at the last minute we extended our stay a few days and we just got our confirmation today from Red Rock Four Wheelers.

Sat., Aug 30 - Hell's Revenge
Sun, Aug 31 - Top of the World

We'll be in the area on the 28th and the 29th also.

On the 28th we have reservations for Lavender Canyon in Needles. We can add another vehicle if someone wants to see some out of the way stuff in Canyonlands.

We thought we'd do tour of Island in the Sky by way of Shafer trail in and Long Canyon out for a nice loop.

I'm really looking forward to Hell's Revenge because I drove it three years ago in a lifted Liberty on 31s. It will be interesting to do it again in a Rubicon Unlimited on 35s.
