Default So Cal JK Visits Sedona

Hey everyone! My wife and I will be visting Sedona with our 07 4-door Rubi from 9/19-9/26 and was wondering if anyone else might be in the area and looking to do a little wheeling. I don't mind wheeling alone on some trails but it's always a good idea to wheel in a group. Especially a jroup of JKs! We were in Sedona in January and did a few trails, but since we are traveling alone did not stray too far off of the trails that the Jeep tours do. Broken Arrow was fun but I'm wondering if Greasy Spoon is okay for us to do alone. Is it a fairly frequented trail so my wife won't have to worry about us "dying" out on the trail? I've got a 2.5" lift, 33" MTs, rockrails and skids to I'm not too worried.

You'll handle Greasy Spoon easily with that set up, it's basically what I have an dhad zero issues on it. Also check out Soldier pass and hit the Devils Kitchen side trail. It's short but fun and like most of the trails, has great scenery. If you do any of the advertised trails, you will not be far from help and tours come by often. If you have a CB, keep it on as most of the tours have them and htey can help out if needed, if nothing else they can call for help back to their base. Wish I could go, but I'll be in Chicago at that time.

hey all, I think I might try and do rug road that on the 20th so I don't think I'll make it to Sedona.

I am trying to get the specifics on the trip on the 4th and the fifth. I am assuming that we are driving up on Saturday morning, wheeling all day, camping wherever on Saturday night(except rockwraith) and then wheeling sunday early and driving back home?

Is that correct? can someone please confirm?

Thanks all, I'm looking forward to this one.

fm3fm3 and rustler were talking about wheeling in Sedona between 9-19 and 9-26 and I was saying that I wouldn't be able to make that because I wanted to do rug road instead(I think you are too?) But I was just confirming the plan with the october trip
