Default New Mexico run 5/23 or 5/24?

I know that it is Memorial Day weekend but the daughter and family will be in town and I am suppose to take the son-in-law out wheeling. Not looking for anything extreme (my JK is stock) just a couple of hours away from the two grandkids.

Puerco is the closest but I am open to other places provided I don't have to bang up my stock rig. Either Saturday or Sunday is fine, just need a couple of other rigs because it is not wise to wheel alone.

Post up with any thoughts or suggestions.

Doug

Nothing extreme?

You do everything the mod'ed rigs do anyway!

I'm most likely out. Memorial Day weekend is my wife and I's aniversary. If we happen to spend it down in ABQ, my status will upgrade to "maybe".

Wait. Our aniversary is 5/28. Back then it was Mem Weekend. This year it's a different weekend.

Let me see what I can do...

Same here. Let me know if you get some interest. Either day would work, I guess.

Bump.

Anyone else going to be there? Just want to make sure I am not the only one that shows up.

I’m in Las Cruces. How far is Puerco from here? Google says 3 hours to Albuquerque.
I could do that as long as we wheel longer than I’m driving on pavement

Las Cruces to Rio Rancho is quite a drive, I assume that 3hrs is for one way. Hit the trail at 10 until maybe one or two so maybe three to four hours of wheeling. Not sure I would drive for 6 hours just for 3-4 hours on the trail.
