Never done it.... I just asked my buddy about it. He said it is a very short trail. Very rocky, tippy. And bangs the rigs up a little bit.

I've run the tank trap. Nice trail. If I can get back to Albuquerque before 4pm, I can go/lead.

Here's some pics for those that haven't been

Yup, it's only a couple of miles long but takes about 2-3hrs with an experienced leader, less than a handfull of rigs and not too much water.

I think the pics I posted show the rocks pretty well. The first obstacle, which is in the last pic I posted above, is pretty tippy. The pic doesn't show at all what it's like. I have more pics of other jeeps and FJC's on the trail which might give you a better idea. You guys can check those out here if you want. There are three albums from tank trap runs this year.

Heya,

Some of my jeep buds and I are planning a Puerco run at 0900 on this Sat Nov 8th. Good people, hard wheelers. Feel free to show up!

I think that might work better for me. I got a recovering dog I have to still take care of so if I can even go at all it will be sat.

I for sure want to go wheeling. I just need to find out if I can get away... I know Santa Fe is too far this weekend. I am at least hoping for Puerco sometime this weekend

I often work on Saturdays too, and Sundays are usually busy busy days at the house, so I know your pain. The trip on Sat. at 0900 was set up by my Air Force buds, about 5 of them are going and they said I could invite you folks, so I can't change it. We will catch you next time Ken, we usually go at least twice per month!

Adam, are you in? Bring your camera, because it's gonna be a hoot....

Dale, Gotta talk to the GF she needs to watch the dog and she has a lot to do as well. I think I can pull something off. Ill let you know if I am going, either on here or ill give you a call.

Oh ya, just got my little camera, I let my parents borrow it on their hunting trip...
