Well when I first wanted to do this, it was supposed to be right about now. But we have set weekend for this now.
We are going to Verde Hot Springs back to Phoenix. In springtime. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/imag...lies/wings.gif
Bring Booze
if ya drink for the big bonfire we'll have Friday and Saturday Night. Bring Pot Luck food. THERE IS NO WATER THERE, bring 5 gallons of drinking water. Bring Guitars, harmonicas. DO NOT bring glass bottles. Bring extra sturdy shoes and socks for crossing the river. (NO flip flops)
Te hot spring vary between 98 degrees to 104. Puuuurfect after a day in the Jeeps!
Start point will be the Verde River which you can access from HWY 260 in Camp Verde, going 6 miles toward HWY 87, turn left at the dirt road and follow the signs to Verde Hot Springs. You cant drive up to the springs, you have to camp 1 mile away and hike in. DO NOT be surprised to see topless women.
Sunday the 3rd, we will cross the river, and take the old stagecoach road back to Sheeps Crossing Bridge, then on to 7 Springs, then Scottsdale. I saw a mountain lion on this trip once.
Everyone welcome.
So who wants to go?
