Hey just chiming in from Farmington. Finally got my JK Rubi, got the lift, tires, and wheels today. Now just need to get down to Browns Fab to put them on (3" Rancho, 35" Pro Comp, with 17X9 Pro Comp simulated bead locks).
I usually work weekends but will try to get off for a family wheeling event that is close. Last weekend we went to Laplata City and wheeled to the top. It was very pretty , no colors showing yet, but very nice weather.

Nice... Congratulations on the new Rubicon!

Are you going to do a lift or anything at this point?

I have put off a lift due to the cost of it and the fact that I can still climb most everything that lifted JKs will do.

Lets see some photos and lets meet up and take our Rubis out.

Sounds good, post me a note and we'll make plans. I usually hit the Rio Puerco with friends about every other weekend.

What's up NM.

Welcome newbies.

Keep posting runs here. I'll make it down for one of them.

If anybody wants to check out Taos & Red River, let me know. The stuff up here is low on the difficulty scale, but way up there on the scenery.

Have to agree here. When my Rubi was stock I was able to hit most obstacles. I did, however, dent the bumpers at all four corners. A lift and/or bigger tires does get the body further away from the rocks and expands the possiblities just a bit.

I don't regret the lift and bigger tires....even with the loss of power and highway speed.

Remember if its an automatic with a lift be prepared to rip the boot on the front drive shaft.

How has your lift been? Any problems?

Refresh my memory, what brand and who installed it?

I'm thinking maybe next year I'll go with your set up.

It is Teraflex budget boost. Desert rat.

I think if I did it again I would go with a spring lift and not spacers. I think it works pretty well just to get some clearance. After I put the bumper and the winch on the front dropped lower so a friend helped me install an additional spacer to help level it.

As for problems:
Two front drive shaft boots ripped but not related to the brand of lift. Poor design by the Jeep.

At full flex the inside of the rear wheel rubs the swaybar link. It does have a relocation bracket for the rear track bar to center the axle.
