Heading up Pikes Peak in the morning then Garden of the Gods ( 7-22-10 ) if anybody wants to tag along

 

Looks like I missed ya today, but post the next time you're going and I'll see if i can make it

 

It'll probably be another 10 years on that. No longer live there Was there for my 30 year high school reunion

 

I'm waaay late for this thread, but I'm in Denver for the next couple weeks and hoping to make those two runs this weekend along with Gold Camp Road maybe.

I've been out of town on business for the last 3 weeks or so, each job putting me further West and ultimately landing me here. Mutiple stops made the trip over easy, but I am dreading that 1600+ mile trip back to Virginia from here.

If anyone knows some decent trails in the area for a stock Unlimited Mountain Edition let me know.

 

I started this thread hoping to do pikes peak with some peeps but it didn't work out but don't dread the drive back. Its the best thing you can do in a jeep. I just dreaded coming back home (to Virginia) and not being able to stay in Colorado (where I'm from). We saw 2 coyotes, 1 grey wolf, tons of horses and buffalo. Drive safe.
