Hey all. First time in this neck of the woods. Anyway, I'm applying for a one year internship in Grand Junction, and I feel good about it. And I was just wanting to kind of get a feel for the area. If anyone knows anything about like the cost of living, tax rates, etc, it'd be great. Thanks!

 

not sure about the technical aspects of junction but its not a bad area. You will be 1.5h from Moab. There are tons of places to eat/drink. Its high desert with little bit of snow in the winter. pretty damn hot in the summer. it can also be dusty and windy. typical desert conditions. Good hiking in the area and your pretty close telluride/ouray area also. go for it..its a fun area
