I know we are saying we are meeting in Bailey at 1000 or there abouts. Just to let you guys now I work nights and will be getting off that morning. It looks like a two hour drive so I should have no problem getting there by 1000 to 1030. Hybrid are you planning on going up through Denver or up through Woodland Park/Deckers to get there, maybe start a caravan?

I'm sure we will hang around the Conoco station until all of our confirmed group arrives. Probably be around 10:30 or so when we begin to head up towards Red Cone.

I was planning on taking I-25 to 470 to 285.. this should take about an 1 hr 44 minutes for me.. I thought about taking US-24 to 67 to 126 to 285... however that will take at least 2 hours 18 minutes.. although I'm sure its more scenic.

Which way had you planned to take?

Wasn't sure, was thinking the scenic route but time does have a factor in this. Want to meet up somewhere before we leave the springs? A two jk caravan up to Bailey

Also I should be on Channel 16 if anyone else has a CB.

No recovery points yet. My X is as stock as you can get it...except for my rubi wheels and tires. I will probably pass on this run until I get some hooks or something.

You really should be fine. The pics are of the rockiest point, which is short, and the "big hill" is steep, but nothing a stock JK should have any trouble with.

rballman- You certainly should get front and rear tow hooks on your JK ASAP.. however.. don't let that stop you from coming! You are certainly welcome.

Drew- If you would like to meet in the Springs and head up.. thats no problem with me. How about we meet at the Gas Station on the Corner of I-25 and N Academy... at say.. 8? We should have no problem getting to the Conoco by 10:45. Maybe we should get there a few minutes before 8...

Are you familiar with that gas station? I think its a Shell?

Anyway.. I've gathered a few guys from Jeepforum.com that are showing an interest. I will keep everyone updated!

Default Gas station

Hey hybrid, I should be able to get there by 8. North Academy and I-25 it is. There are several gas stations in the area, the one near the exit I believe is a diamond shamrock its next to a denny's and Mc Donalds if I remember correctly. I will be there at 8 if all goes accordingly at work I would give you a call if I had your number to let you know if all goes smoothly, pm with if you would like to or call me in the AM. Should be done with work around 7 or so. I will be checking the forum all night at work

I'll try to remember the FRS radios, we can decide on the top-secret channel when we're at Conoco.
