Road trip
My family and I are going to Casper Wyoming from Riverside California during spring break in April. This will be a children friendly trip as I have elementary school age kids. My daughter wants to see Vegas, so we will be starting there Friday night and letting Sin city dazzle them with lights and circus circus. Day 2 visit the Utah arches national park and possibly hit some light non technical trails in Moab (wish i could stay there the whole time, but this is a time limited trip). Stay there over night, then head to Denver (aurora co) for day 3 (Sunday) Stay there 2 days visiting family, then heading up to Casper to visit more family Wednesday for two days. Friday marks the return portion which I haven't really set itineraries for yet... I have till Sunday night to get home, so does anyone have ideas of "neat" things to see along the way that my kids can share with their friends when they get back to school? While in Denver and Casper we will not be with our family 100% of the time, so anyone in those areas know of cool museums or must see's worth checking out?

Stop in glenwood springs on your way east on I70 and tour the caves. It's cheap ($10-$20/person I think?), you get to ride a gondola up to the top of the mountain where you go into the caves, then a guide walks you through in about an hour or so, really neat...
Here are a couple of pics I found really quick
