Default Santa Fe 3/1

The beginnings of a run are brewing on NMVJC.

I've never wheel'd Santa Fe, so should be interesting. I hear it's not too difficult and has beautiful scenery.

I'll post updates once time and specific location are known.

I'm thinking about it. I did that trail 4 times last year. the only time it's somewhat difficult is if there is a lot of water. I'm pretty sure that won't be the case. There is a lot of rocks, big and small. There is an optional ledge at the beginning of the trail that is pretty good. I haven't been able to try it yet, not in the jeep anyway, due to water.

Put on your rock sliders if you're going.

I'm going to put them on for sure. Depending on weather, I may leave the doors at home too.

The peeps at NMVJC that are going have never done the trail. It would be awesome if you could lead.

I have not done any trails beyond mtn fire roads since last fall. I'm pretty excited.

EDIT: I just check NMVJC and there are plenty of rigs heading out. Looks like there will be a caravan from ABQ to SF.

I can't make it.

Last time I was out there was in 2004 with lots of water. Hitched a ride with a friend of mine because I did not have a capable enough vehicle.

Have fun.

"Tank Trap" was sweet.

Here's the one of the pics I have access to. (I can't figure out how to download pics from another member's online photo hosting site)

Maybe Brandon will post a video or two.

Edit: Oops! Forgot I had one on my cell phone...

It's all about the image location. With a photobucket account, it is really easy. Find the pic you want to post. Copy the IMG tag and paste it into you response.
