My wife and I are planning on going to Sedona in the beginning of November. I know there are many trails there but am having a problem finding trail maps. Anyone have any leads on trail maps for that area?

Do you have "guide to arizona backroads & 4 wheel drive trails" by Wells? It is the bible. It has maps, GPS coordinates, and difficulty ratings. A must have.......

Also, the Arizona Trails Backraod Guides are very good and have a lot more trails, but it takes 4 books to cover the state. For Sedona, you just need the Northeast region book.

Another place to check out is trails.com. It has both the books listed and trails from a few others. It has a free trial, but i have found it is worth the membership, I've not had to buy a trail guide for off roading, hiking or biking since I signed up, well worth the money.

You can always stop by Farabees Jeep rentals, they have maps and always seem very friendly and helpful to out of town visitors even if you already have your own Jeep.

Or you could just follow one of the million "Pink Jeep Tours" out of town. make sure you hit "Broken Arrow trail" , it's alot of fun.

Just follow the Pink Jeeps as they leave in the morning...

OK seriously, look on the map for Soldiers Pass. Follow that to the end. Cool Area. Also look for Dry Creek Road.

But there are maps at any of the "Visitor Information" centers in town. Lots of those...

By visitor centers do you mean "condo or time share centers" We couldn't figure out all the "visitor centers" until we stopped at one. We did get one good stay at one of the time share for next to nothing just for listening to their speel. Didn't buy. We love the area and can't wait to go back.
