Stay out of Medano Pass
Well tried to go clear medano pass today. didn't workout so well. Heres my post to bushducks
Trail is not passable yet. Attacked it from the north east side and the snow drifts are pack and sloping the hills really bad couldn't get more than a mile in before having to pull on jeep off the edge and then back down. The last foot of the right shoulder is soft pack from runoff and very dangerous. Then we drove the hundred miles to the sand dunes to try a go from that end. you can get about a mile in before you hit a gate and its closed. Can't even get to the first fording point. Total waste of a day.
