I have a co-worker who is driving with his son out to school in Golden next month. He has a 2006 LJ and will need new tires when he gets there.

Can anyone recommend a tire shop in Golden? A contact of a person who can take care of them would be greatly appreciated! I'm a big fan of Discount Tire, but I am not sure if there is one nearby.

Golden is not large by any means, so they can hit a number of discount tire's all close by (within maybe 10 minutes drive). I *think* there was a tire shop just off the main strip down by pizza hut, but I can't remember.

 

Yes, it is a big o if I remember correctly.

Closest discount tire to there I know of is about fifteen minutes east on colfax, just past kipling.

Give them a heads up to price match between Big O and Discount. I saved myself close to $350 buy going back and forth one time with each. Those two love to compete against each other around here.. by the time I was done, BO threw in the 5th for free and beat DT by 10%.. huge savings..
