I'm going to try and join you guys at 10 with my boys. I live right at the mouth of the canyon. Greystone Unlimited.

There will be a ton of traffic up there.

Hey, Alan, sorry we missed you--I hope we didn't get there too late/early. I didn't show up until about 10:25 (sorry, guys), but we had a GREAT day!

I've never seen AF Canyon looking so beautiful--all the rain has everything really green. And Mineral Basin and Mary Ellen Gulch have to be two of the greatest trails anywhere...if you can enjoy a trail without any serious obstacles.

They can't be serious about that, can they. (Yes, they can--they've blocked off the trail, so we had to turn around.)

It's just snow...well, hard-packed ice with snow on top...

On the way back out. Umm...

No, no, you're fine!

Maybe we can knock some of this ice off...

Nice pics guys! I DID get my wires crossed and got tied up yesterday. I ended up running up this evening for a few hours. Had to turn around half way up to Forest Lake for a broken down Pathfinder right in the middle of the trail and a guy helping with a repair. No way around at the spot there were in.
I'd love to make it with you sometime.
