Just wondering if any of you local JK'ers have a favorite detailer you use or can recommend a good one. I usually try and clean the jeep myself after all my runs but after a year & a half without a professional cleaning I think I can finally use one. Especially after coming home from Strawberry Lake over the weekend, I've just finished spending 2 hours cleaning it inside & out and it's still dirty. I think I can finally use a professional.

i like firehouse car wash in american fork. i haven't used them for a full detail, but they do a great job at washing and making it shine. lots better than sonic car wash.

I have installed my tire and wheel pkg so that my white JK can have white stock wheels.

Where is a good powdercoater in the SLC area?

Drove up Butterfield Canyon to the mine overlook... I was really worried they were never going to open it up. I got the dreaded "HOT OIL" warning while driving up the paved winding road, once on the dirt and in 4 wheel drive, it went away. It scared my wife pretty bad and she started crying, so there aren't many shots... she just wanted to go home. (Ordered a tranny cooling kit to instal to eliminate this problem.)

Anyway, here are some pics...

she started crying because of the oil light or your crazy driving?
thats a cool area. where is that road and what are the road conditions like? is it a 4x4 trail or just a simple dirt road?

Its a very easy road, narrow in some places, you need to drive slow, so i think thats why i got the hot oil light. Cars were at the top.

Take Baccus road (U111) to the wild horse reserve, theres usually a guy selling jerky. Its just south of the main mine entrance.

Get yourself a B&M tranny cooler, that will keep your JK happy. I took Butterfield to Tooele last saturday when I went to the event at Millers Raceway. I wasn't very nice to the skinny pedal, not once did I have any overheating issues. 2wd is all that you need on that road this time of year. Now going down the Tooele side, can be a fun, very fast, drift the JK around the corners time.

Yeah, the only problem were all the cyclists and other vehicles coming around the corners, so I was riding the brake pad pretty much the entire time.

I have a B&N tranny cooler on order from Amazon.com, should arrive next week.
