where has everyone gone for regearing? what about sleeves and gussets? I got quoted 1400 for regear at sixstates. but no sleeves and gussets. 4 wheel parts will do regear for 1600 and sleeves and gussets for about 250? sound good? any better places? I wanna hear where u all went and price!20

did mine at Tera flex, ring/pinion (manager special at the time) was around $900 for everything. Sleeve's, gussests (upper/lower), and ball joints done recently..think it was around $1200.

 

What did you get for $900. Did that include the master install kit with bearings, seals, shims etc?
I was quoted $1900 from teraflex. It wasn't mentioned when I got the quote, but the rep here on the forum says that $1900 is for everything.
Sixstates quoted me $2100-$2200. Again they didn't mention what all it included, just stated the price for both axles as did teraflex. Guess ya gotta ask although I would think they would explain what they are charging for when advertise for much less.
I got a quote for $1300 from Logans Peak that included ring/pinion and master install kit. I think I'm leaning toward them.
Good luck with your shopping around as everyone seems to have different prices.

 

I had mine done at GRS in Salt Lake. They installed lockers, gears, sleeves, gussets adn drivelines. I supplied all the parts, but they charged me less than $1000.00 to install all of it.

 

$900 was for everything but like I mentioned it was the "manager special" that month but generally is quite a bit more.

 

Waiting on a call so we can make the trip up to
sign the papers and get the keys to our place in Taylorsville.
