ha well as for me ill be here next week, but this weekend and the week after next week ill be in Colorado doing the same thing. Snowboarding till i drop.

So what if we set something for the weekend of April 5th. Thats a saturday. I know scouter and a few others have good experience out here in az and we could find a good trail to run. I have done a few as well but most only out of prescott or sydona (?). I know that would give me lots of time to not lay anything over it. Anyone else up for it?

Yeah, anyone who didn't get a chance to ride them before they were declared illegal certainly missed out.

Holy shit dude... I've probably met you. I worked for Brice and Dan for a summer several years ago. Summer of 04' I think it was. I came down from Moab and worked as a mechanic with Ryan Ballentine for July and August. I have to say that I was absolutely stunned at how welcoming of a community Flag was. I was there for two months and felt like I had a ton of friends when I left.
My name is actually Mike, but most everyone called me Goose when I was there. Any of this ring a bell to you?

That's too funny. I remember Joe and his random concoctions of bikes for the Fourth of July race. That was right after I'd come down there.
I suppose it would be better to carry this on via PM at this point, seeing as how we've managed to completely hijack the thread.

Back to the task at hand... (sorry for the hijack. Kind of funny to realize you know someone like that.)

Are there thoughts on a time that would work for others? Spring? Summer?
Any thoughts on location suggestions, other than Moab?

Personally I just need as much notice as possible as my schedule is crazy, but can be flexible with enough notice. As far as Moab goes, it a bit of a haul (8hrs) just for a weekend. I'd probably be up for it if I had enough $$ at that time. Another relatively central location would be Canyon De Chelly. I've never been there, but here it has good trails, the only trick is you are required to have a Navajo guide for the group while you are actually in the park.

I think some of the trails in the mountains of Colorado could be done back to back during a weekend or pick one great long one and meet for that. I plan on (when the time comes) to ride most weekends. With school I will usually only be able to do one day, but in between classes or low homework weeks, I could do a 2-day event. I think as we get closer to warm weather, a new thread for each weekend on what is going on will be a great thing to have.

But for now, I think we should start putting together some of those big events now. So what days are we considering, and what locations? I have a schedule to abide by, but I could try to do what I can to make a couple big ones.
