I'll be up there with some other TJ's in about 2 weeks.. Looking to try out the new Rubi but I'm guessing that the most challenging trails will still be closed. If anyone else heads up there keep us posted on the trails.. We've run just about every trail in the Ouray area over the past 4 years and looking forward to running around in record snows this year Should be an interesting time.

Default Just got back

Was just outside of Durango for 5 days. Went over Ophir, and to Animas forks and part of Engineer pass. I highly recommend the Charles Wells Colorado Backroads and 4-Wheel drive trails books. Great info. If you order them from his publishers site, you can get them spiral bound. A couple bucks more, but I wish mine were spiral so they'd stay open.

Also check the Jeep rental places in town for trail status and maps. One in Silverton was a good resource for me for a map and trail status.
