Default Why So Cal?!

Why is it that all this fun stuff (install party, that thingy they did that one time,... other stuff) happens in socal?!?! I mean we are the 4 corners not half a corner! We have what Moab? Ouray? Canyonlands? The badass state of Colorado? the Rest of Utah and Az? New Mexico (haven't heard much from there)?

We need to get an area event or something going! What ever happend to that 4 corners trip to Ouray?!

Where did Goose and Scouter go?! They used to do a lot and were good planners?

I agree!!

We should ask high country performance to host an install party in their shop like the one socal just had...

Would be anice venue to meet everyone and get some of the easy to put off installs done on a shop with lots of fellow jkers there....

Any thoughts on this???

Goose is moving, so he stepped down as an area leader until he's back on his feet

I dunno... IMO the Tucson crew has the Cali guys beat for sheer frequency of actual wheeling trips... when I was in SF it seemed like there was almost nothing going on.

Since I've been in Tucson for the summer, there's been a trip almost every weekend. Just a bunch of guys deciding the night before to hit the trail. Works for me. Admittedly back in SF I was mainly looking at NorCal stuff, but I was always willing to head south if the occasion arose... it just never really did. Basically I'm just sayin' the Tucson guys rock

I admit I haven't been following the Cali threads much recently so things may have picked up...

Scouter was back; but he's been gone for while . We need a run too. The Tucson guys got there thing going on. But it 2 hours away for me. There must be something we can do. I live in phoenix, and need to do some 4x4. there has to be something close by.

Ha socal even has more posts it seems than the 4C guys.

I agree though. I know the guys down south have their trip to moab in Nov (completely stoked to go by the way) but we need more between then. We never really have had an area event. Lets bring up some ideas and get it done.

Its got to be done and done fast so lets get it done!
