Nevada events?

Nevada events?
I will be driving through Nevada for a Christmas trip this year to the inlaws (SoCal). I would like to take this opportunity to 'wheel in the area, are there any events going on? I would wander myself but I haven't the experiance to solo just yet.

I'm not sure where you will be in Nevada, but please don't "wander" by yourself. The mountain weather can change fast and even in the high desert you can get stuck on roads that aren't travelled in the winter by others for months at a time.
