This laptop runs linux Ubuntu great. It boots and runs off battery - but the capacity of the battery is diminished - lasts half hour to hour. has AC adapter. it does seem to get warm when running on AC. Screen is great. DVD drive burns and plays cd's/dvd's, but its a little sticky to open. Missing the down arrow key. I can't get windows to install, I belive the bios needs to be flashed to have the correct apci drivers to work with windows. you don't notice the issue while in linux, but you cannot enter the bios. all and all it works pretty good, is still pretty fast for being a couple years old.

Ubuntu includes email, internet, photo and word processing applications. I've used the internet with it (wired), the laptop has wireless, not sure if it works with the os.

I've seen the screen go for $150 alone on ebay, and fully working systems for $400 - so i priced in between. $250OBO + shipping
